Popo Panda, The Big Cute Chubby Bear

Popo Panda then became friend with Barry Bear soon after we launched Cody Cow. This character will remind you to Kungfu Panda, but please don't go wrong for Popo Panda doesn't have any family relationship with the one who raised by a long-necked goose named Mr. Ping.

We chose this cute character for its cute chubby face. The panda (Ailuropoda melanoleuca, black and white cat-foot), also known as the giant panda to distinguish it from the unrelated red panda, is a bear native to central-western and south western China. It is easily recognized by its large, distinctive black patches around the eyes, over the ears, and across its round body. Though it belongs to the order Carnivora, the panda's diet is 99% bamboo. Pandas in the wild will occasionally eat other grasses, wild tubers, or even meat in the form of birds, rodents or carrion. In captivity they may receive honey, eggs, fish, yams, shrub leaves, oranges, or bananas along with specially prepared food.

The giant panda lives in a few mountain ranges in central China, mainly in Sichuan province, but also in the Shaanxi and Gansu provinces. As a result of farming, deforestation and other development, the panda has been driven out of the lowland areas where it once lived.
The panda is a conservation reliant endangered species. A 2007 report shows 239 pandas living in captivity inside China and another 27 outside the country. Wild population estimates vary; one estimate shows that there are about 1,590 individuals living in the wild, while a 2006 study via DNA analysis estimated that this figure could be as high as 2,000 to 3,000. Some reports also show that the number of pandas in the wild is on the rise. However, the  does not believe there is enough certainty yet to reclassify the species from Endangered to Vulnerable.

The giant panda has a black-and-white coat. Adults measure around 1.2 to 1.8 m (4 to 6 ft) long, including a tail of about 13 cm (5.1 in), and 60 to 90 cm (2.0 to 3.0 ft) tall at the shoulder. Males can weigh up to 160 kg (350 lb). Females (generally 10–20% smaller than males) can weigh as little as 75 kg (170 lb), but can also weigh up to 125 kg (280 lb). Average adult weight is 100 to 115 kg (220 to 250 lb).
The giant panda has a body shape typical of bears. It has black fur on its ears, eye patches, muzzle, legs, arms and shoulders. The rest of the animal's coat is white. Although scientists do not know why these unusual bears are black and white, the bold coloring is speculated to provide effective camouflage in its shade-dappled snowy and rocky surroundings. The giant panda's thick, wooly coat keeps it warm in the cool forests of its habitat. It has large molar teeth and strong jaw muscles for crushing tough bamboo.
The giant panda's paw has a "thumb" and five fingers; the "thumb" is actually a modified sesamoid bone, which helps it to hold bamboo while eating.
The giant panda's tail, measuring 10 to 15 cm (4 to 6 in), is the second longest in the bear family.

Despite its taxonomic classification as a carnivoran, the giant panda's diet is primarily herbivorous, consisting almost exclusively of bamboo. However, the giant panda still has the digestive system of a carnivore, as well as carnivore-specific genes, and thus derives little energy and little protein from consumption of bamboo. Its ability to digest cellulose is ascribed to the microbes in its gut. The giant panda is a "highly specialized" animal with "unique adaptations", and has lived in bamboo forests for millions of years. The average giant panda eats as much as 9 to 14 kg (20 to 30 lb) of bamboo shoots a day. Because it consumes a diet low in nutrition, it is important for it to keep its digestive tract full. The limited energy input imposed on it by its diet has affected the panda's behavior. The giant panda tends to limit its social interactions and avoids steeply sloping terrain to limit its energy expenditures.
The giant panda's round face is the result of powerful jaw muscles, which attach from the top of the head to the jaw. Large molars crush and grind fibrous plant material.
Pandas eat any of 25 bamboo species in the wild, such as Fargesia dracocephala and Fargesia rufa. Only a few bamboo species are widespread at the high altitudes pandas now inhabit. Bamboo leaves contain the highest protein levels; stems have less. Given this large diet, the giant panda can defecate up to 40 times a day.
Because of the synchronous flowering, death, and regeneration of all bamboo within a species, the giant panda must have at least two different species available in its range to avoid starvation. While primarily herbivorous, the giant panda still retains decidedly ursine teeth, and will eat meat, fish, and eggs when available. In captivity, zoos typically maintain the giant panda's bamboo diet, though some will provide specially formulated biscuits or other dietary supplements.

No conclusive explanation of the origin of the word "panda" has been found. The closest candidate is the Nepali word ponya, possibly referring to the adapted wrist bone. The Western world originally applied this name to the red panda. Until 1901, when it was erroneously stated to be related to the red panda, the giant panda was known as "mottled bear" (Ailuropus melanoleucus) or "particolored bear".

Cody Cow, The Cute Cow Ever

This mammals is famous for the spot patterns in black and white, very cute. The cuteness can be found printed on many things, such as this folding desk. We named it, Cody Cow.
Cows are cattle familia members Bovidae and subfamilia Bovinae. Cattle kept primarily for milk and meat used as food. The byproduct, such as skin, viscera, and then used its horns as well. In some places, cattle are also used to help grow crops, such as pulling carts or plows.
Holstein cow or Frisian is one breed of dairy cow known today as the largest cattle producing milk. Originating from Europe, bred holstein cow in an area that is now the province of North Holland and Friesland, Netherlands (so not from Holstein, Germany). Large holstein cow with spotted black and white on his body. In a narrow sense, holstein cow has black ears, white feet and a white tail tip. FH type cattle in Indonesia can produce milk 20Liter/hari, but the average production 3.050Kg 10Liter/hari or lactation milk 1 times. This type of FH bulls can reach 1,000 kg weight, and ideal body weight is 635 kg females. FH kind of American beef can produce more than 7,000 kg of milk in one lactation time.

Meaow.. Meaow.. For Kitty Cat

This cute cat is the next friend of Barry Bear. We named it Kitty Cat, sweet and playful cat, with golden yellow fur and orange stripes.
Cats are pets that attracted many women, as a pet cat is usually quite instrumental in actions to prevent rats nesting in the house
http://www.mycix.com/category/cat/

Anatomy of the cat is usually the same, powerful and flexible-bodied, good reflexes, sharp claws and sharp teeth to pounce on prey. Cats are capable enough to hear and see the prey in the dark. Usually a cat chasing a mouse, because according to the cats, rats are very noisy. Mice can cause high frequency noise, which humans can not hear. So, easier for cats to know the existence of a mouse.
Despite being solitary hunters, cats are a social species, and cat communication includes the use of a variety of vocalizations (meowing, purring, trilling, hissing, growling and grunting) as well as pheromones and types of cat-specific body language. Cats have a rapid breeding rate. Under controlled breeding, they can be bred and shown as registered pedigree pets, a hobby known as cat fancy.
Because the cat was formerly the animal worship in Ancient Egypt, generally believed to have been domesticated there, but there may be instances of domestication in the early Neolithic. A genetic study in 2007 revealed that all house cats are descended from at least five female African Wildcats (Felis silvestris lybica) 8000 BC, in the Middle East. Cats are pets that are currently most popular in the world, is now found almost everywhere in the world. (bdk http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cat)

Chito Cheetah The Cute Spotted Buddy

This is our second design after Barry Bear, we intended him as a friend of Barry.

Cheetah we chose for its yellow fur and dark spots. Real cheetah (not our table.. ^^) the spots cover nearly the entire body; only the white throat and abdomen are unmarked. This animal is truly built for speed! Virtually every part of its body is adapted in some way to help it run faster.
Special paw pads and semi-retractable claws provide great traction. Large nostrils and  lungs provide quick air intake; a large liver, heart and adrenals Built to Run! also facilitate a rapid physical response. A long, fluid, greyhound-like body is streamlined over light bones. Small collarbones and vertical shoulder blades help lengthen the stride.
The tail acts as a rudder for quick turning plus the eye's retinal fovea is of an elongated shape, giving the cheetah a sharp, wide-angle view of its surroundings.
The dark tear marks beneath each eye may also enhance its visual acuity by minimizing the sun's glare. The spine works as a spring for the powerful back legs to give the cheetah added reach for each step. But the great speed is very taxing physiologically. The top speed, 114 kilometers per hour, can usually be maintained for only 200-300 yards. (274 meters). At that point the cheetah's body temperature increases from the exertion and rest is mandatory.
(as said by http://www.cheetahspot.com/speed.php)
A cheetah is carnivorous wild animal and eats a variety of small animals. While most cats are Note puncture woundsnocturnal predators, the cheetah is primarily diurnal, hunting in early morning and late afternoon. Since it depends on sight rather than smell, it likes to scan the countryside from a tree limb or the top of a termite mound. Other big cats chase only a few hundred meters: the cheetah chases 3.4 miles (5500 meters) at an average speed of 45 miles per hour (72 kilometers per hour). Stalking is as important as the fast sprint: usually it will creep within 50 yards (46 meters) of an intended victim before the final acceleration. Full sprints last about 20 seconds and almost never exceed 1 full minute. If it succeeds in catching an animal the cheetah will suffocate it by clamping the animal's windpipe, sometimes holding a clamp as long as 5 minutes. Very small animals like hares are killed by a simple bite through the skull. But whatever the meal - large or small -  cheetah eats quickly for if challenged it will most often lose. Cheetahs have unusually clean eating habits: they do not return to their kill nor do they eat carrion; they leave the skin, bones and entrails of their prey. At 6 weeks the young are strong enough to follow the hunt and when they are about 6 months old the mother will capture live prey for them to practice killing.

Cheetah is a wild animal, but through our imagination we created cheetah as a cute and friendly animal, and we named it Chito Cheetah... ^^

My First Lovely Desk of Barry Bear

This is the first design of our Cute Animal Head Folding Desks. At first it presented a picture of green frog, not a bear hehehehe..
After going through trials and errors, eventually became a table of a bear head shape, which we called Barry Bear
It turned out that many of colleagues and friends were interested in the cuteness of the desk, so we started to mass produce them .. ^^
